Vanlife Goodies - Dave & Ruth 

It all began in a 2 man tent , then a mattress in the back of a works van , then a long time saving for an old Mark 1 transit motorhome with no power steering .... until the gearbox fell out .

Our dream to travel wasn't shattered but after the early death of Ruths father we decided to stay close to her mum  and use our savings to invest in our first home. 

​

15 fostered and 2 birth children later we invested in our little T5 VW campervan. 

Holidays , weekends and extended days out we shared with the kids and started our YouTube channel to create lasting memories we could watch later in life .

We remember the first video got 25 views and we were ecstatic and shocked that anyone would even be interested !

Many years later Ruth has enjoyed the learning process of filming , editing and all that comes with a YouTube channel and we now have a fabulous community of people. 

And Dave - well Dave fixes everything and  provides the entertainment!

With our kids growing up and the sad death of my wonderful mum , now with Jesus , we invested in a larger VW Crafter , and we LOVE IT ! 

Maybe one day we can do our dream trip to Europe but for now the kids are at that 'middle age' of too young to leave for too long and too old to want to come along .

So,for now we enjoy local trips  , grateful for this gift we have of our little house on wheels .
